SCALE AND CHARACTERISTICS OF THE PROJECT
The project covers the design and construction of several complex infrastructure components simultaneously. In particular, it includes the laying of a new road section with an approximate length of 1.56 km. The main engineering structures will be a new bridge across the Dniester River, with a length of up to 789 meters, as well as an additional bridge crossing over the Tlumach River, about 26 meters long.
STRATEGY AND EXPERIENCE
The implementation of this pilot will generate unique practical experience in applying BIM when designing technically complex road infrastructure objects. The obtained results and insights will help form standardized approaches that will be successfully scaled in the future to other bridge construction and reconstruction projects across Ukraine.
BIM EXECUTION PLAN (BEP)
One of the most important components of the project is the clear planning of digital processes. The technical specifications provide for the development, approval, and strict compliance with the BIM Execution Plan (BEP), which defines the information modeling rules for all project participants.
COMMON DATA ENVIRONMENT (CDE)
All communication and document management take place exclusively in an agreed Common Data Environment (CDE). This ensures effective management of information statuses and versions, eliminating data loss or working with outdated drawings.
MODELING AND COORDINATION
The design team ensures the creation of high-precision information models of complex engineering structures and their complete spatial coordination. The final stage of the process will be the transfer of verified digital results (models) directly to the client.
